Community Outreach & Volunteer Opportunities

Responsibilities include scouting areas for new nests, visits to Osprey nests every other week during nesting-season, and recording observation data to be entered onto the Osprey Watch database.

An adventurous spirit and carpentry skills required-responsibilities to include help with repairing and/or building platforms, helping to mount new platforms or making repairs on old ones.

Responsibilities would include attending community outreach events, engaging the public in conversations about ospreys, and inviting them to become involved with other osprey-related events and activities.
